Final SnowyNet Notice
Final Update Notice Sunday 31 August 2008
The transfer process is well and truly complete now. Those accounts with payments still outstanding as of close of business 01/09/08 will be terminated and new connections will need to be made if services are to continue. Those accounts being terminated will also have their email accounts removed.
If you have any questions please contact Montimedia on 1300 79 49 69.
Notice # 3 Wednesday 13 August 2008
Thank you again to all SnowyNet customers with their patience during the changeover. We are still fielding some calls but not as many as the last 2 weeks. With 6 incoming lines and 6 staff on hand it was still not enough to handle the load during that period but we seem to have attended to nearly all the 900 customers we are now looking after.
If you are interested in either paying your account online or viewing your usage you can go to your Account Toolbox by going to the link from our home page. Using your new account number (listed in brackets next to your name on your invoice) and a temporary password of snowy1234. This can be changed by you once you have logged in. If you have already updated this password with us then just use that one.
You should have already received an invoice for this month. If you were paying your account via
credit card in the past we will need you to either enter your card details online at https://montimedia.com.au/secure/signup/?view=payment.form or have you sign a new direct debit form and send it
back to us for our files. This form may be downloaded at http://www.montimedia.com.au/support/forms/Direct_Debit.pdf.
May we take this opportunity to also remind customers to read our general terms and conditions and billing policy from http://www.montimedia.com.au/support/forms/forms.html.
As always we thank you for your business and look forward to being of service.
The Montimedia Team
Notice # 2 Thursday 31 July 2008
Since Friday we have been fielding over 350 calls per day and over 180 messages from SnowyNet customers. Our after hours team has been flooded with approximately 65 calls each night after 6.00pm.
This at times has completely melted down the phone system and support mechanisms and clogged all the incoming and outgoing lines.
We apologise for this and ask for your patience during this time of transfer.
We have listed online as much information as possible to assist you but there may be situations that passwords need to be reset or verified that are causing many customers needing to call.
[PLEASE CLICK HERE TO SEE A RANGE OF ANSWERS TO YOUR SUPPORT & GENERAL QUESTIONS]
Please understand that it is an unusual situation that is temporary and services will become stable and normal over the next 2 weeks.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Notice # 1 July 07, 2008
Dear SnowyNet, Welcome to Montimedia Internet!
We are pleased to announce that we have recently acquired
the SnowyNet customer base and that as of 01 August 2008 we will be your Internet Service Provider.
It has come as a surprise and the changeover has happened
quickly but I can assure you that your best interests have been taken into
consideration and that Montimedia was chosen as the best option to continue to
provide you with a solid and reliable service.
SnowyNet was
attracted to Montimedia for many reasons but the aforementioned was the most
important one.
Sadly the business will no longer be operating but SnowyNet will live on through Montimedia.
Montimedia is an independently owned and operated Australian
telecommunications company that specialises in providing services to regional
and metro communities, both to households and to corporate markets.
As a regional service provider, we understand that great
customer service and network reliability is extremely important so we are happy
to assure you that your connectivity to the internet will be
fast and reliable.
By way of background, we have provided a dependable, quality
service to regional Victoria
since 1998, and we are thrilled to be able to provide the same level of customer
satisfaction to you. Just a bit of housekeeping - you will obviously now receive
invoices from Montimedia. These will be emailed out to you on or around the 3rd
of each month for the month in advance. If you were paying your account via
credit card we will need to have you sign a new direct debit form at some stage and send it
back to us for our files. This form may be downloaded at http://www.montimedia.com.au/support/forms/Direct_Debit.pdf
The office and general support number is 1300 79 49 69.
Please refer to www.montimedia.com.au for any updates and general information.
You are not required at this stage to make any changes to your ADSL or dialup connections.
YOUR SNOWY.NET.AU EMAIL ADDRESS WILL BE CONTINUING AND YOU WILL NOT LOSE YOUR CURRENT ADDRESS.
YOUR DIALUP & ADSL PLANS WILL REMAIN THE SAME OR BE CHEAPER.
For the next couple of days we will be migrating all customers over to our systems. We ask for your patience during this time whilst we work through this process.
We're always available to assist you in any way we can so
please feel free to contact us on 1300 79 49 69 if you have any questions at
all, or visit our website at www.montimedia.com.au to get online support or to
review our terms, plans and packages.
We look forward to providing you with a high level
of internet connectivity and excellent customer service.
Sincerely
Richard Monty
